Reimagining recovery narratives following adversity
Flower Pot
My inner child at these workshops has had the opportunity to be heard and be seen. I am in the process of allowing my inner child to blossom. For a long time, my inner child has been like a seed, hidden and pushed far into the ground.
Growing up as a Young Carer, I needed to grow up quickly, which meant my childhood, along with my own emotional development, got pushed below ground. Recently, as an adult, I have realised how important it is for me to nurture and give light to my inner child.
