Nature Is A Cure. Freedom To Explore

The child is climbing, playing, and exploring. The tree offers such stability that the child feels safe enough to climb. The tree reflects my feelings of falling from the family tree for many reasons based on my own childhood trauma.

This wasn't something I had ever thought about before; I didn't know where it came from, but it felt accurate and right. It told my own personal story, but one that I didn't feel the need to explain, just to let it be.

I used lots of water while moulding the clay; it got all over my skin and under my nails. It felt good to get messy and not be concerned with the consequences. Just to let things flow.
