My piece of work demonstrates several things. The stitchwork in the centre represents space, and the orange stitches are a galaxy. I wanted to include space as I believe that space and time are the same thing and integrated within the circle of life.

Energy is everywhere and all around, impacting our time. The planets and moons pull on our energy in different ways, influencing time, and planets orbit the sun in various cycles and directions. I wrapped various pieces of fabric with a variety of colours, textures, and varying widths to the hoop, representing different stages of life. Some are dark, painful, joyous, and tatty!

This represents the ever-changing and evolving nature of time and demonstrates the message that nothing ever stays the same. Good or Bad. All this is wrapped up in a bow to represent the gift of time, and it is being held as a gift to show the fragile nature of time.
