It just happened. Playing around with the clay with my thumb, pushing it in and making a hole, I let my hands take over, and it became a boot.

When I came back to paint the boot, it reminded me of the group activities. Memories of the lessons through the experience of being in a group of people, which I have always found a struggle, rose for me.

Everyone working together and doing the same thing made this easier. I was distracted by the messy play, and it helped me feel more comfortable.
